Working Together: Supporting Our Local Royal Canadian Legion

Pabineau First Nation is proud to share another example of what can be accomplished when communities and organizations work together.

Through Mi’gmawe’l Tplu’taqnn Incorporated (MTI), land is being provided to the local Royal Canadian Legion to help provide the organization with a secure parking lot.

Chief Terry Richardson shared his pride in the initiative and the importance of building strong relationships throughout our region:

“We are proud to be able to give land to the local legion through our MTI organization that will give the local legion a secure parking lot. By working together with municipalities and organizations we are able to advance our regions and communities.”

For Pabineau First Nation, partnerships like this are about more than an individual project. They demonstrate the value of collaboration, good relationships, and communities supporting one another.

The Royal Canadian Legion plays an important role in supporting Veterans and bringing people together within our region. We are pleased to see this partnership help provide greater security and stability for the local Legion while strengthening relationships between our communities.
