Bursary Opportunity: Atlantic Indigenous-Led Energy Symposium

Are you passionate about energy, leadership, and making a difference in your community? This is an exciting opportunity for Indigenous students and community members from Atlantic Canada.

The Atlantic Indigenous-Led Energy Symposium (AILES) is offering five $1,500 bursaries to support First Nations youth, students, and community members who are pursuing post-secondary education and are interested in the future of Indigenous leadership in the energy sector. Recipients will also receive complimentary admission to the Atlantic Indigenous-Led Energy Symposium, where the bursaries will be presented during the AILES Gala Dinner.

Eligibility

To apply, applicants must:

  • Be a First Nations member from Atlantic Canada (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador).

  • Be enrolled full-time or part-time in a recognized post-secondary program.

  • Submit a personal statement.

  • Submit one reference letter.
