ArtsNB Board Meets in Oinpegitjoig First Nation

On September 20 and 21, 2025, the artsnb Board of Directors gathered in Oinpegitjoig First Nation for two days of collaboration, discussion, and community connection.

Among the important topics on the agenda were:

  • New Brunswick’s new cultural policy and cultural action plan

  • The evolving role of artificial intelligence in the arts

  • A productive meeting with Minister René Legacy (Finance and Treasury Board, and Member of Parliament for Bathurst)

The Board also took time to host a community meeting on Friday evening, creating space for meaningful dialogue and relationship-building with local residents.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Oinpegitjoig First Nation for their generous hospitality throughout the visit.
