Community Sharing Circle on Emergency Department Experiences
Community members of Oinpegitjoig (Pabineau First Nation) are invited to take part in a Community Sharing Circle focused on experiences using Emergency Departments in New Brunswick hospitals.
This gathering is part of a research project led by Shelley Francis from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Nursing. The project aims to better understand the experiences of First Nations community members when accessing emergency care and to ensure that community voices help inform future improvements in the healthcare system.
Sharing circles are an important way for communities to speak openly, share knowledge, and support one another. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their experiences, concerns, and perspectives in a respectful and supportive environment.
