🌿 Wellness Fair Brings Health & Connection to Pabineau

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the Pabineau Health Center hosted a vibrant Wellness Fair at the Pabineau Band Hall, bringing together community members for an evening focused on health, connection, and holistic well-being.

From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, guests explored booths highlighting the many services available through the Health Center and met the dedicated professionals who support our community’s wellness year-round.

Light refreshments were served, and attendees were entered into a prize draw for visiting each booth — a fun way to encourage everyone to learn more about the care available close to home.

💬 The evening featured booths from:

  • Registered Nurse

  • Diabetes Coordinator

  • Indigenous Mental Health & Cultural Wellness Coordinator

  • Licensed Counselling Therapist & Candidates

  • Psychologist

  • Naturopath

  • Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Occupational Therapist

Wellness fairs like this are vital in strengthening access to care and ensuring health equity within First Nation communities. They help bridge systemic gaps, improve quality of life, and bring essential services directly to our people — fostering wellness rooted in connection, culture, and community care.

We are so grateful for our incredible health team and the effort they put into creating opportunities like this to serve our community. Their dedication ensures that Pabineau continues to move forward with wellness, respect, and care at the heart of everything we do.

📸 Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event — together, we are building a healthier future for all.

💛 We look forward to welcoming you to our next community wellness event and continuing to grow, learn, and heal together.
