🌿 Spirit Naming Ceremony – January 3rd at the Band Hall

Pabineau First Nation is honoured to offer a Spirit Naming Ceremony on Saturday, January 3rd, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Band Hall. This special gathering will be conducted by Jean Bartibogue, who will guide participants through the sacred process of receiving their spirit names.

A spirit name is deeply meaningful in Mi’gmaq culture. It reflects one’s purpose, gifts, and connection to the spirit world, the land, and the ancestors. Receiving a spirit name is a powerful step in healing, identity, and cultural grounding.
